In the original Raiden games, the Raiden mk-IIβ is simply a clone of its red counterpart, with the only difference being that it is blue. It also uses the same weapons as its counterpart.
In Raiden DX, the Raiden mk-IIβ (Player 2) starts with a stock of Thermonuclear Bombs, as opposed to the Raiden mk-II starting with the Cluster Bombs.
Raiden II - Raiden DX: The Raiden mk-IIβ is the 2P ship of the game. It is exactly identical to its red counterpart, save for its color.
Raiden revival: The Raiden mk-IIβ returns with its red cousin in the revival of the main series, Raiden III, a little more detailed than the classic depictions, but otherwise the same as its original appearance.
Raiden Fighters 2: Operation Hell Dive and Raiden Fighters Jet: The Raiden mk-IIβ has different capabilities and bombs than the Raiden mk-II.
Raiden IV: The Beta Returns in Raiden IV, but this time has the same functions as the original, the Original and Modified versions are Available on this game only.
Raiden V: The concept of the Beta has been Changed in Raiden V, Clearly that this unit can transform into bits of weapons on Cheer Mode. in 2 Player Mode, It retains the same original concept, it only depends if you choose Azuma (or ratherwise the standard Raiden Mk-2 on this game) that equals the same design of the Beta.
