The Griffin is a slightly powerful fighter that makes it's debut in Raiden Fighters 2: Operation Hell Dive.
It later appears in Raiden Fighters Jet.
The Griffin's Laser (Pencil Satellite) consists of small pods that are launched. They then aim at an enemy and fire several green bursts of energy before disintegrating. Lasers will also stab through enemies to hit others. The Charged Laser special is very useful. Four pods fire powerful lasers that cut through enemies. The Wall Bombs are exactly like the Endeavor's from RF1. This time, however, the Charged Missile Special takes a shorter time to charge up. The charged attacks of the Griffin are really the only good attributes worth noting.

Raiden Fighters series: The Griffin first appears in Raiden Fighters 2: Operation Hell Dive, as a slow fighter, but faster than the Beast Arrow. In Raiden Fighters Jet, the laser color is changed from green to orange, and the Griffin moves slow like the Raiden mk-II.
